Camp Pringle is a United Church residential camp for children, youth and families, located on the western shores of Shawnigan Lake, a 45-minute drive north of Victoria. Our program and staff aim to model Christian values of care, acceptance, challenge, respect for diversity, and community. Our outdoor experience offers canoeing, archery, crafts, nature study, ropes course or climbing wall, skits, music, faith exploration, and games as part of our program.
SPRING BREAK VOLUNTEER JOBS FOR 2012 Group Leaders – ages 15 and up can volunteer to be a camp leader and be responsible for making sure a group of campers are looked after in a safe manner providing them an opportunity to have a great time at camp. Learn to lead such activities as Archery, Orienteering, Wide Games and lead campers in these activites. Ropes Leader – This paid position requires a minimum qualification of ARCI (level 1) and will be awarded on a first come first served basis to returning staff. Adult Volunteer Roles include Chaplain, Craft Leader, Office Assistant and Medic.
