Camp Pringle staff, volunteers and society members strive to provide a fun, active camp experience. We are committed to ensuring campers’ physical and emotional safety in all activities. Many of our Camp Pringle staff have been involved with camp since they were children and they preserve and share the culture of Camp Pringle through games, song and recreation. Our staff are known for their caring approach in supporting every camper to have the most fulfilling camp experience.
All staff and volunteers must submit a criminal record check including a vulnerable sector search. Campers are supervised at all times. Staff counselors are young adults aged 18~22 and all volunteers are at least 16 years old. Leaders are selected for their enthusiasm, maturity, experience and special skills.
Our Chef and our Kitchen Staff offer a nutritionally balanced menu and excellent meals. Our National Lifeguard certified Waterfront Staff ensure the safety of all campers and staff at the lake. All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR-C. Safety is a top-priority at Camp Pringle and we have an AED on-site (Automated External Defibrillator). We have a paid full-time medic on site from mid-May to August and a fully equipped infirmary.
There are numerous ways to get involved and make a difference in kids’ lives. We need adult volunteer Camp Parents each week to help us keep things running smoothly. If you are 16 or older (no exceptions) and interested in being a cabin volunteer co-leader or shadow lifeguard, training will be provided in the first week of July. We are looking for creative, enthusiastic, flexible people who are positive and love working with children. Contact the Camp Office to let us know!
