Kezia Cowtan / Camp Director
Kezia Cowtan is our new Camp Director. Kezia started her camping days as a child at Camp Wabanaki in Ontario. She spent her summers canoeing, kayaking, swimming and out-tripping. When she wasn't at camp, she enjoyed summers and weekends at the family cottage on Lake Ontario. Kezia's family avidly sails both in Ontario and now on the West coast. Kezia has a wealth of experience working in the non-profit and social enterprise sector in Greater Victoria for the last 20 years. Her senior management roles include business development, operations management and marketing expertise. A decade of her work focused on delivering school-age environmental education and youth skill-building programs. Kezia has since worked with Recreation Integration Victoria in partnership with Recreation Oak Bay to facilitate inclusion for disabled children in their recreation programs. Kezia joins the Camp Pringle team to help build lasting camping experiences.
Claire Friedrich / Camp Coordinator
Clair is responsible for rentals, summer program coordination/registration and the licensed childcare. For rental inquiries contact Claire at firstname.lastname@example.org Claire has a long history at Camp Pringle, dating back to her time as a camper in the 2000's. She has been on staff for a number of years as a cabin leader, Crew/CIT leader and, since 2015, as Program Coordinator.
Clayton Leavitt / Head Chef
Clayton brings over 20 years of kitchen experience to Camp Pringle. He earned his interprovincial culinary red seal in 2009.
Dan Orr / Caretaker
Tera Domeli / Early Childhood Educator
Tera recently graduated from Camosun College, earning her diploma in Early Learning and Care with a specialization in special needs. She is currently at the University of Victoria finishing her degree in Child and Youth Care. Experience in Victoria, where she was born and raised, includes work as an early childcare educator for Cordova Bay Preschool, UVic Daycare, Story Yoga Preschool and Arbutus Grove Preschool. Outside of being an educator and student, Tera loves the outdoors and exploring the wonderful hiking trails surrounding her new home in Shawnigan Lake with her dogs. She practices yoga and incorporates it into her childcare programs.
Mobeen Waraich / Early Childhood Educator
Mobeen is a passionate certified Early Childhood Educator with more than 7 years of experience working with children ages 3 to 10. She believes in children's education and assisting them with the right foundation for their future success. She loves out-doors and enjoy respectful, fun-filled, play based learning environment. Mobeen is married and a mother of two (ages 12 and 8 ). She has a Bachelor Degree in Fashion Designing with a particular focus in traditional designs. She enjoys reading, cooking and exploring nature. She is looking forward to meeting with children and parents at Camp Pringle Childcare.
